Rev. Mitchell Tull, Sr.

Rev. Mitchell Tull, Sr.

Rev. Mitchell D. Tull, Sr. is the son of Madelyn Tull and the late Cornelius Tull. He was born in Wattsville, VA. He received Christ at an early age while attending Friendship Methodist Church. Rev. Tull was educated in the Worcester County Schools in Maryland. Later, he attended the United Baptist College and Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland.

 

Rev. Tull rededicated his life in 2000 while attending Berean Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. John A. Lunn, Sr. He was ordained as a Deacon at Berean Baptist Church in 2002. In 2004, on Easter Sunday, Rev. Tull did his initial sermon. He worked at Berean as a member of the Male Choir, Prison Ministry, Men's Ministry, and the Visitation Ministry. In October 2009, Rev. Tull was ordained by Rev. Dr. John A. Lunn, Sr. He has continued to serve in the vineyard in Prison, Visitation, feeding the homeless, and performing other church duties.

 

In 2005, Rev. Tull joined Agape Deliverance Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jeffery Gray. He is the Co-Pastor of Elevate and Empower Ministries, along with his wife, Pastor Lana Tull. His favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Rev. Tull is the husband of 47 years to Rev. Lana Tull, the father of
three children, Shay, Mitchell II, and Montoya, and the grandfather of six:
Alana, Marquell, Lamiya, Maleia, Laila, and Macari. He is employed with the Department of Defense at the Pentagon.
