Minister Fawn Brunson is a dynamic woman of God who passionately worships the Lord and diligently teaches God’s Word to all generations. She believes that a victorious life in Jesus Christ is achieved by intentionally seeking to know the Father through regular study, fervent prayer, and fellowship with like-minded believers. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”
Minister Fawn was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1996 under the leadership of Dr. R. Lee Johnson, Pastor of Brown’s Memorial Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. She served faithfully in various ministerial roles, including Sunday School Teacher, Evangelism Team member, and Choir Financial Secretary, then President. In September 2000, she answered the call to help establish Kedesh House of Prayer Christian Church in Baltimore, Maryland, under the leadership of Rev. James G. Mullen. There, the Holy Spirit began cultivating her gifts in church administration and governance. In 2010, she joined God’s Army Christian Center in Woodlawn, Maryland, under Rev. Joshua Jones, Senior Pastor, where she served as Finance Department Head and then Church Administrator. In 2014, Minister Fawn was ordained as a Fully Licensed Minister of the Gospel. She also served as Administrator for the International Association of Independent Ministries, providing leadership to both emerging and established Christian churches worldwide.
Minister Fawn retired from the Baltimore City School System after 30 years of service. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Maryland (Global) and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University.
Minister Fawn was blessed to be married to the late Deacon Willie Brunson. They were given four handsome sons who are the love of her life: Arnay, Pastor Tanon, Minister Dorian, and Justin. She has also been blessed to share family love with her daughters-in-law, Tiffany, Adana, and Fatima. Her greatest joy and blessings are granddaughters Kennedy and Madison, and her new grandson, Elijah. Nana’s Heart.
