Rev. Lana Tull

Rev. Lana Tull is a Baltimore (MD) native. She is the daughter of the late Guy and Katherine Stilley. Raised as a Catholic, Rev. Tull listened to her heart and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at 12. Rev. Tull is a graduate of The Catholic High School of Baltimore and an alumnus of Boston University with a Bachelor's degree in hospitality. In 1977, she met the love of her life, SFC Mitchell Tull Sr. They were married in 1978.  Rev. Tull is the mother of three children, Shay, Mitchell II, and Montoya, and a grandmother of six. Her military family afforded her the privilege of traveling worldwide, and she finally settled down with her family in Hanover, MD, in 1993. 

In 1999, Rev. Lana accepted an invitation from her aunt to attend Berean Baptist Church in Baltimore, where she re-dedicated her life to Christ. In 2006, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, she joined Jesus of Nazareth Freewill Baptist Church. It was there she preached her initial sermon and was licensed as a minister of the Gospel. Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John Lunn, on December 11, 2020, Rev. Lana Tull was ordained and set apart for the work of the Gospel ministry. 

Rev. Tull is a spirited servant and founder of Elevate and Empower Ministries. She has a passion for empowering youth, young adults, and women to live lives fulfilled by God's plan. She is also pursuing a Master's degree in Pastoral Counseling at Light University and Seminary and is a creative entrepreneur. 

Rev. Tull's favorite Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV)
